Robert Bruce “Bob” Weakley, 58, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at his residence. Bob was born November 22, 1954, in Shelbyville, the son of Louis E. and Martha E. (Winkles) Weakley. Survivors include his daughters, Misti (husband, Jessie) Loya of Rocky Branch, Louisiana and Tara (husband, Clayton) Neathery of Farmerville, Louisiana; sister, Roxanne L. (husband, Butch) Schutte of Manilla; and brothers, Ronald E. Weakley of California and Paul David Jones; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1973. He drove a truck for Quickway Trucking Company from 2010 to 2013; and had also driven for South Transport and food and beverage industry. Bob was an avid hunter. He was a member of the Teamsters union. A Gathering of Friends will be from 1 to 3 pm, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. A Celebration of Life will be at 3 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
