Robert Dale “Bob” Critser, 64, a lifelong Shelbyville resident, passed away, Saturday, March 07, 2015 at his residence.
He was born November 28, 1950 in Shelbyville, the son of Elmer and Marjorie (Moore) Critser. He married Gleela Ann Simpson on April 29, 1981, and she preceded him in death on January 20, 2013.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Wise and husband, Mick, and Kelly Stephens and husband, Chris, both of Shelbyville; sons, Randy Stocklin and wife, Angie of Indianapolis and Todd Stocklin and wife, Susan, of Shelbyville; sister, Donna Banks and husband, Bob; and grandchildren, Jordan, Jared, Rylie, Lanie, Kade, Sammy and Nolan.
He was also preceded in death by parents.
Bob graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1969, and obtained a degree in engineering.
He was a member of Harvest Life Church in Marietta and American Legion Post No. 70.
Bob was employed at Overton and Sons Tool and Die in Mooresville.
He was a craftsman and was known for being able to make or fix anything.
Bob loved music, golfing and working in his yard.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the funeral home, with Rev Robert Simpson officiating.
Interment will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
