Robert Henry Zeuner, 69, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, February 05, 2012 at Waldron Health and Rehab.
Born January 5, 1943, in Rahway, New Jersey, he was the son of Henry Arthur Zeuner and Margot (Denis) Zeuner. He married Ruth Anne (Longstreet), and she preceded him in death on February 23, 1997.
Survivors include his step-daughters, Jennifer (husband, Randy) Stock of Flat Rock and Jody (husband, Ray) Longstreet-Nuzzo of Greensburg; step-son, John (wife, Jennifer) Longstreet of Indianapolis; sister, Ethel (husband, Ken) Haber of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Cassie, Sara and Cathleen; and nephew, Jacob Haber of San Diego, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-father, Ken Smith.
Mr. Zeuner graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1962 and from Ivy Tech in 1976.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1963 to 1965.
Mr. Zeuner was a programmer for Anthem Insurance in Indianapolis from 1984 until retiring in 2010. From 1974 to 1984, he worked for Danner Inc. and from 1968 to 1974 at Stark and Wetzel Meat Co. He also had worked for Vintage Wine and Spirits.
He attended St. Timothy's Episcopal Church.
Bob enjoyed judging the Indiana State Fair wine tasting competition, taking pictures and being a fan of football and the Indiana Pacers. He also enjoyed hanging out in coffee shops in Noblesville.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
