Robert Joseph "Bob" East

Robert Joseph “Bob” East, 51, of Fairland passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville with his mother and brother by his side. Born June 1, 1961, in Beech Grove, he was the son of Bruce Edward and Patricia Ann (Sallee) East. Survivors include his mother of Fairland; brothers, Mark East of Bedford and John W. East of Clifford; and a sister, Michele Rooks of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his father. Bob was an auto body repairman having most recently worked at Shelby Collision. He enjoyed quad racing, sandrailing and remote controlled gas trucks. Visitation will be from 11 am to noon, Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Bryan Justice officiating. Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery.
