Roger Kevin Hunt

Roger Kevin Hunt, 55, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 30, 1957, in Seymour, to Lester F. and Opal L. (Stockamp) Hunt. He married Shari L. McLane on May 8, 1982, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Emily R. (companion, Ray Hunt) Hunt and Lindsay C. Hunt, both of Shelbyville; sister, Karen (husband, Steve) Keck of Kendallville; grandchildren, Blake Hunt, Chase Hunt, Gavin Mullins, Alyvia Hunt and Joey Macke; and a niece, Alison Keck of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Roger graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1975. He was employed at Indiana Grand Casino for the last four years and worked in the maintenance department at Indiana Downs, Roger had been a social member of the Knights of Columbus, Sons of the American Legion and the Eagles Lodge in Rushville. He enjoyed camping, fishing and NASCAR. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions Hospice of St. Francis, 421 N.
