Roger Wayne Ivie

Roger Wayne Ivie, 65, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1949, in Shelby County, the son of Jack H. and Betty (McDonald) Ivie. He married Carolyn K. (Eberhart) Wells on September 30, 2014, and she survives. Other survivors include his sons, Jack W. Ivie and wife, Kim, of Greenfield, Joseph M. Ivie and wife, Cari, and Jeremie W. Ivie, both of Shelbyville; daughter, Jessica M. Boger and husband, Charles, of Rushville; step-son, Christopher S. Faulconer of Shelbyville; sisters, Jackie Boone and husband, David, Penny Hall and Terri Mitchell, all of Shelbyville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents. Roger graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1967. He was a member of Fountaintown Community Church. Roger retired from International Harvester as a tool and die maker, with over 30 years of service, in 2009. No services will be observed.
