Ronald Lee Brown, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Waldron Health and Rehab in Waldron.
He was born December 25, 1937, in Bartholomew County, the son of Clarence and Lenor (Hauk) Brown. On July 5, 1959, he married his wife of 55 years, Donna M. Alexander, and she survives.
Ronald is also survived by his daughter, Cheryl Moore and husband, Tim, of Shelbyville; son, Jeff Brown and wife, Kim, of Shelbyville; sister, Nancy Laughlin and husband, Richard, of Boston, Kentucky; grandchildren, Chris Moore, Amy Suiter and husband, Nick, Jake Brown and Josh Brown; a great-granddaughter, Katie Suiter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joann; brother, Kenny; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Brown.
Ronald was formerly a nuclear welder for Milturne and Tube Processing for over 40 years, retiring in 2002.
He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, and the time he spent with them.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
