Ronnie Eugene McQueary Sr.

Ronnie Eugene McQueary Sr., 63, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 18, 1955, in Jaybez, Kentucky, the son of Floyd and Rosie (Bolin) McQueary. Ronnie is survived by his son, Ronnie McQueary Jr.; brothers, Arnold McQueary and wife, Polly, and Michael McQueary and significant other, Becky Schneider, both of Shelbyville, and Rick McQueary and wife, Sondra, of Indianapolis; sisters, Barbara McQueary, Deborah Shaw-Hill and Sherry Flores and husband, Luis, all of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Sarah, Corbin and Xander; and aunt, Beulah Armstrong of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dallas McQueary; and nephews, Sgt. Jeremy McQueary and David Kyle McQueary. Ronnie formerly worked in the maintenance department at Hubler Auto Group for over 20 years. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
