Rosanna "Rosie" Fuchs

Rosanna "Rosie" Fuchs, 78, of Morristown passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at Morristown Manor. Born March 26, 1929, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of J. Everett and Florence T. (Whitehead) Grinstead. She married Delbert W. Fuchs on January 16, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2000. Survivors include her daughter, Jane (husband, Steve) Macy of Shelbyville; son, Brent Fuchs of Shelbyville; sisters, Laura Weinantz of Franklin and Harriett Banich of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Thomas W. Macy and Lindsay B. Fuchs, both of Shelbyville, and Brittany N. Fuchs of Fountaintown; great-grandson, Taylor; and mother-in-law, Mildred L. Fuchs of Shelbyville. She also was preceded ind eath by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Fuchs was a homemaker and formerly employed at Eli Lilly and as a cafeterian worker at Morristown High School. She had attended Shelbyville High School. Mrs. Fuchs was a member of Rays Crossing Christian Union Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Shelby County.
