Roy C. Knuckles

Roy Carroll Knuckles, 75, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Born June 26, 1931, in Thompkinsville, Ky., he was the son of Roy Edmund and Katherine Marie (White) Knuckles. Survivors include seven nieces, Barbara Cole of Indianapolis, Brenda Williams, Bonnie Holdaway, Brooke Zentz and Stacy Holdaway, all of Greenfield, Dolly Thomas of Kentucky and Kerri Yeley of Shelbyville; and one nephew, Rick Holdaway of Greenfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Verna Cole. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11220 E. 30th St. in Indianapolis. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Leslie Scott officiating. Interment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
