Ruby F. Moore, 77, of Franktown, Colorado, formerly of Indianapolis and Morristown, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Brookside Inn in Castle Rock, Colorado.
She was born September 12, 1935 in New Salisbury, Indiana to Owen and Mary (Wooten) Wilhoite. She married Luther F. Tyra in 1955. They divorced in 1973 but remained friends until his death in 1998. She married Bruce L. Moore Sr. in 1979, and he also preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (husband, Ryan) Kelemen and Cathy (husband, Dan) Tyra; sons, Dan (wife, Cathy) Tyra, Rick (wife, Tonya) Tyra, Bruce (wife, Kim) Moore, Jr., Michael Moore, Paul (wife, MaryAnn) Moore, Kevin (wife, Jane) Moore and Christopher (wife, Tammy) Moore; brothers, Arthur Wilhoite and Owen Wilhoite; sister-in-law, Helen (husband, Gene) Blackledge; 26 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Ann Wilhoite; and brother, Marvin Wilhoite.
Ruby retired in 1988, as a nurse's aide.
She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
