Ruenell Kessler

Ruenell Kessler, 79, of Milroy died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at St. Francis Health Center South in Indianapolis. Born March 2, 1932, in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., she was the daughter of Charles and Maude (Emberton) Bledsoe. She married William Kessler on Oct. 26, 1973, and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Della Sue (Paul) Pavey of Milroy; sister, Annette Greer of Fishers; brothers, Julius Clyston Bledsoe and Winfred Bledsoe, both of Fishers; grandchildren, Kimberly (Mike) Benson, Nichole (TJ) Perry, Angie (David) Ayrton, Aaron (Marisa) Pavey and Matt (Stephanie) Pavey; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Eddie Adams; three brothers and a sister. Mrs. Kessler retired from the Kroger Co. in 1992 after 27 years as a head cashier and clerk cashier. She attended Moscow Christian Church in Rush County. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
