Russell Lee Hargrove, 57, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.
He was born April 4, 1956, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ronald S. and Rosemary (West) Hargrove. He married Cindy Beth Meece on July 2, 2010, and she survives.
Other survivors include his parents of Indianapolis; sons, Jeremy D. Hargrove of Shelbyville and Jonathon R. Hargrove of New Albany; daughters, Melanie Blackburn and husband, Calvin of Lewisville, North Carolina, Amanda Hall and husband, Erik of Greenfield and LaCinda Bugarin and husband, Cesar of Irving, Texas; brothers, Ryan Hargrove and wife, Tammie of Indianapolis and Rex Hargrove and wife, Tonia; sister, Rhonda Koch and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Nolan Hargrove, Jacob “Carter” Hargrove, Peighton Hargrove, Joshua Blackburn, Jacob Blackburn, Emilia Barksdale, Isabella Hall, Emilia Bugarin and Cecilia Bugarin; parents-in-law, Leon and Barbara Meece of Russell Springs, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob L. “Jake” Hargrove.
Russell graduated from Warren Central High School in 1974.
He attended Morristown Christian Church in Morristown.
Russell was employed by Ford Motor Company for the past 22 years.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lima, Ohio.
Russell enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, camping and racing.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville and from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Morristown Christian Church, 209 S. Washington St., in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with Pastors Ken Hawes officiating.
Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Heart Center, in care of the funeral home.
