Ruth Alice Mason

Ruth Alice Mason, 87, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at Ashford Place Health Campus. Born September 14, 1921, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Carrie M. (Wills) Reinbold. She married Robert Reinbold on November 30, 1952, and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1998. Survivors include her brothers, Robert "Bob" (wife, Luella) Reinbold of Shelbyville and Richard "Dick" (wife, Delores) Reinbold of Sarasota, Florida; foster daughter, Rita (husband, John) Thornburg of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy Andrews. Mrs. Mason was co-owner with her husband of the home improvement store Mason's Frames. She also was an Avon Lady. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1939. She and her husband traveled to Australia in 1979 promoting Kiwanis International. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2009 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, Indinana. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 118 W.
