Ruth G. "Jenny" Wagner

Ruth G. “Jenny” Wagner, 81, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 24, 1934, in Shelbyville, the daughter of George and Hazel (Losey) McDaniel. She married Robert L. Wagner on October 23, 1953, and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2003. Jenny is survived by her sons, Robert Stephen “Steve” Wagner and wife, Bobbi, Gregory A. “Greg” Wagner and wife, Renee’, and Anthony J. “Tony” Wagner and wife, Pamela; sisters, Virginia Hoffman and Joyce Crawhorn; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margaret Loggins; and brother, Raymond McDaniel. Jenny graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1952. She retired from GE/Wellman in April of 1996, with 40 years of service. Private family services will be conducted. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
