Sally Brigid (McKenney) Kidwell

Sally Brigid (McKenney) Kidwell, 46, Clinton Township, Michigan formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009 at her home. Born July 29, 1962 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Ward B. and Gladys M. (Hodson) McKenney. She married Todd Gene Kidwell on April 8, 1995, and he survives. Other survivors include her parents, her sons, Barry Andrew Kidwell and Benjamin Adam Kidwell, both of Clinton Township; sisters, Terry (husband, Jim) Tindall of Shelbyville, Molly Ash and Cindy (husband, Murry) DeCamp, both of Noblesville, IN; brothers, Patrick McKenney, Tim (wife, Gaye) McKenney both of Shelbyville, Kevin (wife, Lori) McKenney of Selma, IN, Erin (wife, Julie) McKenney of Zionsville, IN, Kelly (wife, Karla) McKenney of Indianapolis, IN and Dennis J. (wife, Rachel) McKenney of Chico, Calif.; mother-in-law, Sandy Kidwell of Kokomo, IN; father-in-law, Jack G. Kidwell of Amboy, IN; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Barry McKenney. Mrs. Kidwell graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1980 and Purdue University in 1984. She was employed at General Motors in Michigan as a mechanical engineer. Mrs. Kidwell was a member of the Christian Life Church in Detroit, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Carmony-Ewing Chapel of Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison Street. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or the American Cancer Society.
