San Juanita "Janie" Russell, 47, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, February 29, 2008, at Major Hospital.
Born March 25, 1960, in Brownsville, Texas, she was the daughter of Jesus and Emilia Flores.
Survivors include her mother of Brownsville; fiance', Tom Wells of Shelbyville; sons, Jesse Russell and Jason Russell, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Jose Flores and Saul Flores, both of California, Israel Flores of Odessa, Texas, and Martin Flores of Brownsville; sisters, Eva Flores and Elana Olivo, both of Brownsville, and Molly Kitchin of San Angelo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She was a nurses' aid and worked for Green Tree Programs Inc. at Especially Kidz.
Ms. Russell graduated from Hanna High School in Brownsville.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose.
Mr. Russell enjoyed cooking, camping and dancing.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Perry Fouts officiating.
Cremation will follow.
