Sandra Carol Carver, 52, of Greensburg, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born December 27, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of Monte and Alice Elizabeth (Gaston) Lake.
Survivors include her daughters, Crystal Riley and husband, Mark, of Morristown and Morgan Carver of Lafayette; son, Eric “Scotty” Lake of Pendleton; step-daughters, Sarah Humphrey and Felicia Lanier and husband, Travis, both of Yulee, Florida; step-son, James Akers of Labelle, Florida; sister, Linda Sue Lake of Moore Haven, Florida; grandchildren, Jeremiah Riley, Juriah Riley, Shane Riley, Asia Lake, Annika Lake and Nevaeh Asher; step-grandchildren, Robert John “RJ”, Gabriel and Ryan; nephews, Monte “Bo” Lake and Robert “Bobby” Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Jessica Lake.
Sandra graduated from Clewiston High School in Clewiston, Florida in 1981.
She enjoyed watching alligators and going to casinos.
Sandra loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at her daughter’s residence at 122 N. Jackson St. in Morristown, Indiana.
