Sandra Lynn Gelinas

Sandra Lynn Gelinas, 50, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at her residence. Born May 2, 1958 to William L. Underwood, Jr. and Floretta (Potter) Underwood. She married Stuart C. Gelina and he survives. Other survivors include her parents; sons, Joseph C. Gelinas and John Paul Gelinas, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Michael (wife, Barbara) Underwood of Shelbyville and Robert (wife, Peggy) Underwood of Fairland; sister, Sue Underwood (husband, Mike) Hoon of Evansville. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Cecil and Ellen Potter; grandmother, Ruby K. Adams; grandfather, William L. Underwood, Sr. She was a graduate of Shelbyville High School in 1976. Mrs. Gelinas worked for London Witte Company for 23 years. She loved to ride motorcycles, including the Tuesday rides at Fat Daddy's and going to Sturgis in 2003. Memorial services will be conducted at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Don Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby County Cancer Society.
