Scott Allen Corbin, 47, of Shelbyville, passed away April 25, 2018 at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born December 4, 1970, in Hancock County, the son of Ronald and Isabel (Hefferland) Corbin. On June 17, 2000, he married Jennifer Marsh, and she survives.
In addition to Jennifer, Scott is survived by his sons, Joshua Marsh, Wesley Corbin and Scott “Alex” Corbin, all of Shelbyville; sisters, Rhonda Yackeschi and husband, Brett, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Tracy Foreman of Fruitland Park, Florida, and Amber Maurice and husband, Michael, of Fairland; brother-in-law, John Brennan and wife, Sarah, of Beech Grove; sister-in-law, Martha Literal and husband, Randy, of Fortville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother-in-law, Deborah (Martin) Marsh; father-in-law, Wayne Marsh; sister-in-law, Pauline Marsh; and aunt, Jeanie Foster.
Scott graduated from Triton Central High School in 1989, and attended college.
He worked at Indiana Racing and Casino for five years, as a stewarding supervisor.
Scott enjoyed playing games and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved going to Southeastway Park and taking walks with his wife and children.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with John Brennan officiating.
