Sherrell C. Jackson, 64, of Indianapolis, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis.
Born Oct. 10, 1941, in Morris, Ill., she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Richardson) Wineinger.
Survivors include one daughter, Rena Jackson of Noblesville; three brothers, Boyd Wineinger of Petersburg, Lloyd Wineinger of Indianapolis and Phillip Wineinger of Freedom; two sisters, Lillian Seivers of Vincennes and Gloria Street of Lake Wales, Fla.; one grandson, Eric Ryan Hensley of Noblesville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherri Jackson.
Ms. Jackson had lived in Shelbyville for a short time and in Indianapolis since 1959.
She was a team leader at Meijer?s store in Southport and had formerly worked at K-Mart in Shelbyville and in Castleton. Prior to that, she had been employed at the Beveridge Paper Co. in Indianapolis.
Ms. Jackson graduated in 1959 from Otwell High School.
She was a member of Bellaire United Methodist Church and Broadripple United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Chaplain Mike Mercer officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
