Shirley Ann Pardue, 67, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008, in Shelbyville.
Born February 28, 1941, in Beech Grove, she was the daughter of Burleigh L. and Thelma D. (Lee) Martin.
Survivors include sons, David (wife, Traci) Pardue of Folkston, Georgia, Kenny Pardue and Kevin Pardue, both of Shelbyville; daughters, Rita Cockerham of Shelbyville, Bonnie Ingles of Indianapolis and Tressa Wright of Rushville; and grandchildren, Kayla, Sarah, Nate, Brandice, Taylor, Kayla, Ty, Kevin Paul, Cody and Conner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Martin; and a son, Mack Cole.
Mrs. Pardue lived in Shelbyville for 30 years. Prior to that time, she had lived in Indianapolis.
She retired from Knauf Insulation in 2003 after 29 years of service.
Mrs. Pardue enjoyed playing solitaire and crocheting. She loved her family, grandchildren and visiting with neighbors.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Freeman Family Funeral HOmes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Michael Linville officiating.
Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
