Stephanie Ann Gahimer, 38, of Greenwood, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born August 6, 1975, and grew up in Shelbyville, the daughter of Norm and Kathy (Mounce) Gahimer.
Stephanie is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Norm and Kathy Gahimer of Shelbyville; and her sister and best friend, Wendy Gahimer of Greenwood.
She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1993, and received a degree in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University-Bloomington School of Business in 1998.
Stephanie was a senior statistical programmer for Inventive Health and Eli Lilly.
She attended Grace Wesleyan Church and was a volunteer with the Johnson County Special Olympics.
Stephanie loved to visit Disney World in Florida and going to the beach with her family. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, because she enjoyed the decorations and the family gatherings
Most of all, Stephanie loved her family and spending time with them.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville; and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Grace Wesleyan Church, 56 E. Franklin St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Rev. Harvey Weaver and Dr. John D. Hundley officiating.
Interment will be in Miller Cemetery.
