Stephen Raneri Strollo, 49, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Shelby County, passed away November 27, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on March 31, 1966 at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Ernie and Linda (Stevens) Strollo. He was a beloved husband to Pamela, with whom he was married to for almost 20 years, and she survives.
Steve was a father to Stevie, Kaytlyn, Rana, Seth, and Gaige; a grandfather to Eibhlin, Farron, and Emma Kate. He is also survived by his father, Ernest Strollo; brother, Michael; and sister, Michelle Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Stevens.
Steve graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1985.
He was a Union carpenter for 30 years while living in Indiana. He went on to further his career as an Independent Contractor for Sears, serving the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Steve had a passion for cars, motorcycles, and his family. He enjoyed watching movies with his family and laughing together.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St. in Shelbyville.
