Steven H. Miller, 64, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Waldron Health and Rehab.
Born January 26, 1947, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Hascal and Mary Cathern (Hoppes) Miller.
Survivors include his daughters, Deanna Lynn (husband, Rodney) Mohr and Christy Marie (husband, Matt) McNeely, both of Shelbyville; son, Jeffrey Alan (wife, Katie) Miller of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Olivia Mohr, Jarrett, Mohr, Reagan McNeely, Ross McNeely, Emma Miller, and Rylee Miller; and the mother of his children, Anna Marie Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Miller graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1965.
He was a U.S. Army and National Guard veteran, with active duty during the Vietnam War for six years.
Mr. Miller retired from AT&T as a manager after more than 30 years of service and also had been a truck driver for Merico and VTI for 15 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moose Lodge in Shelbyville and the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Mr. Miller enjoyed boating, Motorcycling, and his Corvette and most of all his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 am, Friday, March 25, 2011 at the funeral home, with Father Chris Craig officiating.
Interment will be in Miller Cemetery.
