Steven Lee Suits, 63, of Fairland, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 in Greenwood.
He was born January 18, 1952, in Shelbyville, the son of Donald and Nellie (Leonard) Suits.
Steven is survived by his daughters, Donnie Lee Waltman and husband, Bill, and Shannon Livingston, both of Indianapolis; son, Alexander Suits and fiance’, Hannah Monnett, of McCordsville; stepdaughter, Abby Stacey and husband, Joel, of Indianapolis; stepsons, Jimmy Palmer and wife, Lindsay, of Fairland, Mike Baumann and wife, Mandy, of Pleasant View, and George Baumann and wife, Ashley, of Indianapolis; sisters, Donna Harriman and husband, David, and Susan Suits, both of Indianapolis; brother, John Suits and wife, Della of Greenfield; stepbrother, Mark Johnson and wife, Myra, of Shelbyville; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; close friends, Donna Harper of Greenwood, and Donald New of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sandra Suits.
Steven graduated from Triton Central High School in 1970.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Steven retired from Navistar in 2010.
He was a member of Sugar Creek Masonic Lodge No. 279 and the American Legion.
Steven enjoyed riding his Harley and boating and camping in Tennessee.
Private family services will be observed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
