Steven "Scott" Schwaner

May 19, 1964 - August 08, 2017 Steven “Scott” Schwaner, 53, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1964, in Indianapolis, the son of Jon M. and Bonnie Lou (Baumgartner) Schwaner. Scott is survived by his father, Jon M. (Linda) Schwaner of Greenwood; daughters, Jennifer (Alex) Tijunin, Laura E. Schwaner and Kelly A. Schwaner, all of Indianapolis; son, Jeffrey M. Edwards of Rushville; sisters, Lori (Cary) Lucas of Shelbyville, Deborah (Joseph) Winterhalter of Cincinnati, Sara (Keith) Lambert and of Greenwood, Cassandra (Derek) Schaefer of Orlando; and grandchildren, Emma, Madeline and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his mother; and son, Timothy Scott Schwaner Edwards. Scott graduated from Center Grove High School in 1982. He was a mechanic for Lucas Fleet Service who enjoyed fishing, drag racing and cars. A gathering of friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
