Tammy R. Crane

Tammy R. Crane, 45, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 26, 1968, to Gary and Penny Knose. She married Doug Crane on December 24, 1989, and he survives. Other survivors include her father of Shelbyville; daughters, Ashley Danner and husband, Brent, of Carmel and Courtney Crane of Shelbyville; sons, Justin Crane and wife, Kim, and Stephan Crane, both of Shelbyville; brother, Troy Knose of Shelbyville; sisters, Tracy Rash of Rushville, Kimberly Matney and husband, Chris, and Katie McTarsney and husband, Mike, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Bella and Joey; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. Tammy was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Shelbyville. She enjoyed her flowers, gardens, crocheting, camping and fishing. She was an avid animal lover and loved the time she spent with the family and friends. Tammy leaves behind her dog and constant companion, Chunky. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary DeBoard officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
