Teresa Ann Fair

Teresa Ann Fair, 61, of Rushville, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at her son’s home. She was born February 17, 1960, in Harrison County, Kentucky, the daughter of Alva and Margaret (Jackson) Ramsey. On December 22, 1989, she married Dean Allen Fair, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2020. Teresa is survived by her mother of Rushville; children, Becky Brewer and significant other, Tom Tillison, of Homer, Nicholas Daugherty Sr., and Alishia Daugherty, both of Rushville, and Donita Fair of Shelbyville; brothers, David Ramsey and Rick Ramsey and wife, Robin, both of Rushville; sister, Sheila Ramsey and wife, Mary, of Rushville; grandchildren, Alexis Pike and husband, Aaron, Brandon Jones and significant other, Hayley, Logan Jones, Kerstyn Carpenter and significant other, Dallas, Nicholas Daugherty Jr., Josalynn Fair-Lowe and Paige Leining; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Asher, Alden, Leland and Delilah; sisters-in-law, Denise Lockwood of Pleasantview and Dorene Greiwe of Greensburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind her dogs, Bambi and Bella. In addition to Dean, Teresa was preceded in death by her father. Teresa retired in 2020, from Plastic Moldings, with 22 years of service. She enjoyed going fishing and playing various card games. Teresa loved her family and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2022, at the funeral home, with Andy Lee officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
