Terry L. Martzall

Terry L. Martzall, 64, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital and Health Center in Indianapolis. Born July 29, 1946, in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of Wendell and Rachael (LaChat) Martzall. He married Linda (Vest) Martzall on December 8, 1978, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughters; Christi (husband, Rodney) Falls of Muncie, Kimberli Torres of Orlando, Florida and Abbi Martzall of Shelbyville; sons, Travis Martzall of Muncie and A.J. (wife, Joni) Martzall of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Chase Howard, Taylen Martzall, Taryn Martzall, Emily Howard, Remi Torres and Austin Martzall. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Martzall. Mr. Martzall had lived in Shelbyville for the past 25 years. He graduated in 1963 from Muncie Southside High School and from Ball State University in 1973. Mr. Martzall was currently employed at Triumph Fabrication in the human resources department and had previously worked in human resources at Knauf Insulation. He was a member of the Muncie Masonic Lodge. Mr. Martzall enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and fishing and was a fan of the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Reds. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. A memorial services will be conducted at 7 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Mark Dodd officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelbyville-Shelby Co. Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
