Terry Rash, 51, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born October 23, 1959, in Franklin, Indiana, he was the son of Roy Harold ?Bruce? and Naomi (Cox) Rash. Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; daughters, Natasha Rash and Megan Rash, both of Shelbyville; his little buddy, Johnnie Jones of Shelbyville; sister, Denese (husband, Joe) Newton of Manilla; brother, Sam Rash of New York; best friend, Bryan Haltom of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Tammy (husband, Doug) Crane of Shelbyville; nine nieces and nephews, including Leslie (husband, Jeremy) Soliday and Laura Newton; and several aunts and uncles, including Fonda (husband, Greg) Weintraut of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Rhoda Rash. Terry was a general contractor with Robert D. Marshall for 21 years. He attended Rushville High School. Terry enjoyed NASCAR and building things. He was the family handyman and was always willing to help anyone. Terry also leaves behind his faithful dogs; Jade, Charlie and Jake. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm, Monday, June 27, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison Street in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 1 pm, Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Don Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelbyville-Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
