Thomas C. "Dude" Zinaman, 74, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at his home.
Born June 25, 1935, in Harrodsburg, Ky., he was the son of Henry and Anthy (Carroll) Zinaman. He married Lula Bell Bowers on February 16, 1953, and she survives.
Other survivors include his children, Randy (wife, Suzie) Zinaman of Manilla, Tommy (wife, Darla) Zinaman of Franklin, Beth (husband, Roger) Spence of Arlington, Heather McClellan of Tampa, Florida, Randy (wife, Kira) Zinaman Jr. of Blue Ridge, Tiffany (husband, Lowell) Sullivan of Olathe, Kansas and Paige Zinaman of Shelbyville; brothers, James Zinaman of Shelbyville and Chester Zinaman of Arizona; sister, Debbie Johns of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Thomas Zinaman and Eric Zinaman, both of Rushville; Matthew Zinaman of Terre Haute, Ashley Hatfield of Rushville, Zach Hatfield of Waldron and Sarah Spence of Arlington; and great-grandchildren, Kali Zinaman, Demi McClellan, Trent McClellan, Matthew Sullivan and Lyle Sullivan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Louis Zinaman.
Mr. Zinaman was retired from Zerr's Grocery Store and Compton Dairy.
He attended First Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Drs. Stephen Bohall and Kenneth Jewell officiating.
Interment will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery in Arlington.
