Thomas Wayne Walker

Thomas Wayne Walker, 74, of Morristown, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home.

He was born July 11, 1949, in Hancock Co., the son of Wilbert M. and Katherine H. (Chadwick) Walker.

Tom is survived by his brother, Larry Walker of Morristown; sisters, Nancy Evans of Greenfield, and Linda Walker of Morristown; sisters-in-law, Sandy Walker of Finley and Mary Ann Walker of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Rollie Walker, Lowell Walker and Dale Walker.

Tom was a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School.

He was currently employed for the last eight years at Crates and Pallets .  He retired from Detroit Steel with over 30 years of service.

Tom enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colt and Purdue Boilermakers play football, as well as, Purdue basketball.

Graveside services will be at 1 pm, Friday,  December 8, 2023, at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the  Hancock Co. 4-H, 972 E. Park Ave., Greenfield, IN 46140.
