Todd Scott Beaumont

Todd Scott Beaumont, 47, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Born February 14, 1963, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Gerald Eugene Beaumont and Jan C. (Scott) Kremer. Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; father and stepmother, Brenda, of Hanover, Pennsylvania; brother, Christopher (wife, Dawn) Elrod of Morristown, Glen "Lee" Elrod of Greenwood and Brad J. (wife, Kim) Beaumont of Hanover; sister, Julie R. Beaumont of Hanover; nieces, Lindsay Elrod, Ashli Elrod, Lyna Tran and Lyshia Tran; and nephews, Tanner Elrod and Marco Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan J. Beaumont. Mr. Beaumont was the club house manager at Indiana Downs for the past six years and formerly employed at AUL Insurance in Indianapolis. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1981. Mr. Beaumont enjoyed the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard races; loved music; and missed his pet dog, Madison. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Evie Stuard officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
