Tony Dean Crook, 51, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at Major Hospital.
He was born August 7, 1963, in Shelbyville, the son of Bill Thurman and Dorothy (Biery) Shearer.
Survivors include his sons, Zachary Crook and significant other, Leah Shepherd and Sean Crook, both of Shelbyville; daughter, Alicia Crook and significant other, Brandon Goodnight, of Shelbyville; step-brothers, Jason Shearer and Jeremy Shearer, both of Shelbyville; and mother of his children, Zerie Ball of Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and the aunt who raised him, Barbara Sorrels.
Tony graduated from Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas in 1981.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Tony sold encyclopedias and insurance in Texas for 22 years.
He enjoyed joking with his friends and family.
Tony also leaves behind his dog, Buddy.
Private family services will be observed.
Services were entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
