Tony Leon “Toad” Kirkpatrick, 54, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.
He was born November 1, 1962, in Shelbyville, the son of Philbert Leon Kirkpatrick and Carole L. (Weaver) Hood. He married Stephanie Kirkpatrick in December 7, 2011.
Toad is survived by his father and wife, Marlene, of Blocher; mother of Seymour; daughters, Angela Hood of Shelbyville, and Angie Milini and husband, James, of California; brother, Bill Kirkpatrick and wife, Teresa, of Shelbyville; sisters, Sharon Baker and husband, Stanley, of Evansville, and Kendra Phares and husband, Jeremy of Seymour; grandchildren, Peyton Pierce, Cooper, Charlotte and McKayla; nephews, David Baker of Valdosta, Georgia, and Craigg Baker and wife, Kyla, of Missouri; and niece, Amber Tamira of Shelbyville.
He graduated from Westville High School.
Toad was formerly a truck driver.
He enjoyed woodworking and living life.
Toad liked motorcycles especially Harley Davidsons.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
