Tracey Paul Mershon, 42, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, in Franklin.
Born Sept. 11, 1964, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Charles And Nellie (Absher) Mershon. He married Cynthia Hammond on May 9, 1987, and she survives.
Other survivors include his parents of Greenfield, children Tiffany Mershon, Sarah Mershon and KayLee Mershon, all of Shelbyville; sisters LaDonna Williams of Lexington, Ky., and Cheryl Brooks of Greenfield; and brothers Brian Mershon of San Diego, Calif., and Dale Mershon of Morristown.
Mr. Mershon had lived in Shelbyville for the past 20 years.
He had been employed in maintenance at O'Neal Steel in Shelbyville and at S.T.I. in Greensburg prior to that.
Mr. Mershon graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1982.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1982 to 1984.
Mr. Mershon loved hunting and fishing.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 232 W. Broadway St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Proctor officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
