Vanessa Gaehl Turner

Vanessa Gaehl Fritz, 6 weeks, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Payton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 9, 2014 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Travis Ray Fritz and Ashley Nicole Manley. Vanessa is survived by her parents of Shelbyville; twin sister, Lita May Rose Fritz; brother, Leroy Charles Fritz; grandparents, Steven Russell Manley of Fairland, Jan Marie (Corley) and David Fritz of Shelbyville; great-grandparents, Sharon Pennington of Indianapolis and Joan Fritz of New Castle; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.
