Vicki Sue Nicholson, 63, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 7, 2012, at Major Hospital.
She was born March 9, 1949, in Rush County to Raymond L. and Mary Lois (Keith) Nicholson.
Survivors include brothers, Danny Joe (wife, Judy) Butts of Blue Ridge, James A. (wife, Susan) Butts of Franklin, and Tony L. (wife, Sally) Nicholson of Shelbyville; nieces, Jody Butts of Greenwood, Nikki Dougan of Indianapolis, Amy (husband, Earl) Johnson of Franklin, and Tammy (husband, Rob) McPherson of Greenwood; nephews, Jayme (wife, Kayla) Butts of Indianapolis and Ty (wife, Crystal) Nicholson of Shelbyville; great-nieces, Kathleen Johnson, Sarah McPherson, and Lyndon Nicholson; and a great-nephew, Talon Nicholson.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George R. Nicholson.
She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1968, was previously employed at Country Lad and the Heritage House in Shelbyville, and attended the First United Methodist Church and the Bible Mission Church, both of Shelbyville.
Vicki enjoyed spending time with her friends and “families,” including her immediate family, church, family, the Shelby Senior Services family and nursing home family.
She enjoyed Bible study, watching videos, playing the Wii, UNO, bingo and making and giving homemade gifts to the special people in her life.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Forest Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Campbell officiating.
