Vida E. Farmer

Vida Ermine Farmer, 76, of Morristown, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Born Jan. 18, 1930, in Taylor County, Ky., she was the daughter of James P. and Rachel E. (Caulk) Farmer. Survivors include one sister, Myrtie Farmer of Morristown; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Farmer moved to Morristown in 1952 from Taylor County. She was a homemaker. Ms. Farmer was a member of Mauldraugh Hill Baptist Church in Finley, Ky. Her favorite hobby was quilting. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Hickman officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
