Virginia Mae "Ginny" Harrell, 85, of Waldron passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Major Hospital.
Born February 3, 1922, in Geneva, she was the daughter of George W. and Nancy c. (Boger) Dale. She married Dallas H. Harrell on May 10, 1941, and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1996.
Survivors include her sons, Dallas "Pat" (wife, Kathy) Harrell of Medina, Ohio, and Richard D. (wife, Terrie) Harrell of Crestwood, Ky.; daughter, Kay (husband, Steve) Pope of Waldron; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Forest "Doc" Dale, Glenn "Shine" Dale, Frank Dale and George W. "Bud" Dale; and sisters, Thelma "Tiny" Mitchell and Evelyn "Ebby" Smith.
Mrs. Harrell formerly lived in Elyria, Ohio and in Medina.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Harrell was a member of Geneva United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Catmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Lawhead officiating.
Interment will be in Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County.
