William Dale Jeffries, 47, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005.
Born Oct. 24, 1958, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Billy Dwain and Bonnie Lou (Bowers) Jeffries.
Survivors include his mother, of Fairland; three sisters, June (husband, Danny) McKenney of Shelbyville and Fay Jeffries and Angie Jeffries, both of Fairland; two brothers, Chuck Jeffries of St. Paul and Darrell Jeffries of Fairland; four nephews, Gary Albert, Dwain Jeffries, Andy McKenney and Gwaine Jeffries; two nieces, Sam (husband, Joe) Douglas and Nicole Jeffries; five great-nephews; one great-niece; and good friends, John Kolhapp and Mikel Kolhapp.
He was preceded in death by his father and one niece, Judy McKenney.
Mr. Jeffries lived most of his life in the Fairland and Shelbyville areas.
He was employed with Knauf Insulation since 1976. He formerly worked with the Shelby County United Fund.
Mr. Jeffries graduated in 1976 from Triton Central High School.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Broadway Chapel, 232 W. Broadway St.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Adams officiating.
Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery, in Fairland.
