Warren D. Ramsey, 59, of Manilla, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005.
Born Sept. 17, 1946, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dale E. and Esther F. (Dennis) Ramsey. He married Charlotte K. Delhagen on Sept. 12, 1981, and she survives.
Other survivors include his parents, of Shelbyville; one daughter, Renee N. Ramsey of Manilla; two brothers, Thomas (wife, Carol) Ramsey and Philip (wife, Cindy) Ramsey, both of Shelbyville; one sister, Debra (husband, Ron) Zargarian of Greenwood; parents-in-law, Jack and Barbara Delhagen, of Montverde, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ramsey had been a systems accountant for Defense Finance and Accounting Services at Fort Harrison for 23 years, retiring Dec. 31, 2004. He formerly was employed at Fairland National Bank and was a teacher at Morton Memorial School, in Knightstown, from 1968 to 1971.
He graduated in 1964 from Morristown High School and in 1968 from Olivet Nazarene University.
Mr. Ramsey was a member of Park Chapel Christian Church, in Greenfield, for three years.
He liked to garden and deer hunt and enjoyed the outdoors.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene, 2315 S. Riley Highway, with the Rev. Phil Collier and David Woods officiating.
Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery, in Shelby County.
