William M. "Bill" Huber, 86, of Shelbyville passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Morristown Manor.
Born March 12, 1923, in Shelby County, he was the son of Orden and Grace (Mason) Huber. He married Isabele Kroening on August 7, 1968, and she survives.
Other survivors include his son, Clinton W. Huber of Shelbyville; and friends, Jack and Paula Wilcox and Davis and Judy Mohr, all of Shelbyville. He also is survived by his dog, Browny.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Huber was a lifelong Shelby County resident.
He was a farmer, retiring in 2006.
Mr. Huber graduated from Fairland High School in 1941.
He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.
Mr. Huber was very artistic, enjoyed painting pictures and did leather work. He also was an animal lover.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Gwen Pew and the Rev. Douglas S. Finney officiating.
