Wilma F. Williams, 89, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at her home.
Born December 10, 1919, in Waldron, she was the daughter of Arlie and Edna Watson.
Survivors include her son, William J. "Luke" (wife, Mary Pat) Williams of Shelbyville; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth Watson and Norma Watson; and grandson, Mark Williams,
Ms. Williams was a homemaker and former dance instructor, teaching tap and ballet; and played the piano and organ.
She graduated from Waldron High School in 1937 and attended Jordan School of Dance in Indianapolis.
Ms. Williams was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a former president of Tri Kappa sorority and American History Club.
She enjoyed playing golf, tennis and bridge.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
